The tours are organised and escorted by Kadir Zehir who now lives in Warrnambool in Victoria. Until mid 2001 he was living and working as a tour guide in Turkey escorting British tourist on tours. He missed showing people the sights in Turkey and so by organising tours he has the opportunity to do this. All of his family is still in Turkey, so at the end of the tour he can remain in Turkey to see them before returning to Australia.

The aim of his tour is to show people around popular sights in Turkey and the Balkans as well as giving people the opportunity to experience the real Turkey by getting off the beaten track and seeing village life.
